An Easy Approach to Composition Book 1

This book is filled with composition activities for children 6 to 8 years old. The activities are designed to support the Shared Writing strategy.
Shared Writing is a powerful teaching strategy. It allows the teacher to work with the whole class, demonstrating through modeling the writing process. It also encourages students to look at and talk about other writers’ choice of words, phrases and sentences.
In this way, students are able to create a link between what they read and how they write. They can use these written texts as models for their own writing.
