An Easy Approach to Composition Book 2

This book is filled with composition activities for children 7 to 9 years old. The activities were designed to be done using the Shared Writing approach.
Shared Writing is a powerful teaching strategy. It allows the teacher to work with the whole class, demonstrating through modeling the writing process. It also encourages students to look at and talk about other writers choice of words, phrases and sentences.
In this way they are able to create a link between what they read and how they write. They can use these written text as models for their own writing.
