An Easy Approach to Composition Book 3

This book is filled with composition activities for eight (8) – to ten
10) -year-old children. The activities were designed to be done using the Shared Writing approach.
Shared Writing is a powerful teaching strategy. It allows the teacher to work with the whole class demonstrating through mod-elling, the writing process. It also encourages students to look at, and talk about other writers’ choices of words, phrases and sen-tences. In this way, they are able to create a link between what they read and how they write. They can use these written texts as models for their own writing.
